Chief Insurance Officer

Vandana joined Clearcover in 2020 as Chief Insurance Officer.

In this role, Vandana is responsible for the strategy and long-term vision for Clearcover’s insurance product and claims teams. During her tenure, Clearcover has expanded its footprint from eight to 20 states. Today, Clearcover proudly offers auto insurance from coast to coast, serving hundreds of thousands of customers in more than 40% of the US.

Vandana has more than 15 years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry and has demonstrated excellence in business growth, product management, and market strategy. She has a proven track record of success in launching new products, overhauling under-performing products and integrating acquired businesses. Vandana’s journey has included leadership positions at Progressive, Kemper, Allianz, and most recently PURE Insurance. She holds Masters degrees from the University of Illinois in Applied Mathematics and Operations Research.
