Jennifer Kemp
Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer Kemp is an accomplished accounting and finance leader with over 15 years of professional experience driving financial strategy, operational excellence and organizational growth. Currently serving as Clearcover’s Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer has been a key force in the company’s Accounting and FP&A teams since joining in 2021 as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Her leadership and strategic acumen have been instrumental in navigating Clearcover through dynamic market conditions and fostering a culture of innovation, operational efficiency and collaboration.
Prior to joining Clearcover, Jennifer served as Vice President and Controller for the $18 billion Property & Casualty division at Nationwide Insurance, leading financial reporting, internal controls and technical accounting. Her contributions also included developing innovative leadership programs, such as the Fostering the Leader in You (FLY) initiative, which empowers individuals to build and refine authentic leadership capabilities.
Jennifer’s leadership extends beyond the workplace, exemplified by her role as Treasurer and Board Member for the King Arts Complex, where she leverages her expertise to support community development. Her leadership philosophy—rooted in authenticity, transparency, and a passion for driving positive change—continues to inspire teams and future leaders in the accounting and finance industry.
Outside of her professional endeavors, she competes nationally as a decorated equestrian. Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from Miami University.
